Annual Home Maintenance Plan

— Our Checklist for a Happy Home (ツ)

There are several annual maintenance tasks included in our Annual Home Maintenance Plan.

  • Safety & Security
    — Ensure that all smoke detectors, carbon monoxide, radon detectors and fire extinguishers are in good working order.
    — Test all the GFCI outlets in your home to make sure they are working properly.
  • Kitchen and Bathrooms
    — Check and re-grout tile in all bath and kitchen areas, as needed, and apply a silicone sealer.
    — Check the sinks and toilets in your home for leaks.
  • Appliances
Check the hoses on all the appliances for leaks.
  • Dryer Vent Cleaning
This will reduce the risk of lint fire and conserve energy while drying clothes faster and extend the lifespan of dryer.
  • Clean Heat Ducts
Accumulated dust and dirt may eventually restrict airflow and might even pose a health hazard. Call in a professional to clean the ducts, as well as repair or upgrade them if necessary.
  • Windows, Doors and Siding
Wash outside windows, screens and siding. Check and replace bad caulking around windows and doors. Repair any damaged window screens. All caulking eventually gets too old to do its job effectively. Installing new material can help keep your home energy efficient.
  • Hot Water Heater
Drain and flush out hot water tank to remove rusty sediment. This improves functionality and extends the lifespan of your water heater.
  • Garage Door
Lubricate garage door tracks and springs for a smoother, quieter, and easier to operate garage door.
  • Outside the House
Inspect hose washers and replace as needed to prevent dripping water from soaking the foundation of your home.
  • Roofing
Check condition of roofing material. Clean debris from flat roofs or roof valleys where leaves can collect and hold moisture.
  • Inspect Condition of Wood Surfaces
Check house and garage for any rotting or termite damaged wood, and repair as needed. Re-seal decks, fencing, and other outdoor woodwork.

Home Maintenance Plan Options

Blaylock's Home Maintenance Plans are designed to completely 'maintain' your home from top-to-bottom, inside-and-out. They cover all the important and necessary home maintenance tasks such as adjusting, cleaning, lubricating, tightening, and general servicing that is needed to keep functional home systems operating according to their intended use.

Our maintenance plans begin with a comprehensive inspection to categorize the type of fixtures you have so that Blaylock's All Task will have a knowledge database of all the types of fixtures and appliances that are in your home. This allows our technicians to bring with them the correct parts at the time of the annual or quarterly visits. This saves you time and gives our technician more time to properly maintain your home.

Both plans include general maintenance tasks such as replacing heating filters, removing leaves from gutters, tightening and adjusting faucets and shower heads, small repairs and more. During each visit we check for any functional issues around your home so we can head off any major repairs. Major repairs or remodels are scheduled and quoted separately.

Give us a call, or contact us through our website. We'd be happy to go over exactly what is covered in each Home Maintenance Plan and answer all of your questions.
